Meet the Larson Family
Craig Larson, a southeast Texas native, received a call upon his life to preach the gospel at the age of sixteen. He then began to lead a bible club at his high school and preached at youth and adult services. Continuing to follow God’s call, Craig attended Evangel University in Springfield, Missouri while also serving as an associate pastor for a local congregation. As a student at Evangel, Craig also was active in local evangelism efforts and a summer foreign mission. In 1996 he graduated from Evangel University with a B.A. in Biblical Studies. While serving as a youth pastor in Beaumont, TX, Craig met and married his wife, Hilary. Hilary is also a southeast Texas native, who graduated from Lamar University in 1995 with a B.S. in Elementary Education.
Together, Craig & Hilary felt compelled to establish Power Castle Ministries in July of 1997 as an outreach to area youth & children. Since that time, the ministry has grown and become better equipped, touching more lives with the love of Christ. In addition, in the summer of 2013, Craig & Hilary established a children’s day camp on 27 wooded acres near Beaumont. Craig & Hilary’s family has also grown as they now have three children who are active in sports, drill teams, UIL competitions, church and all volunteer with Power Castle. When a
much needed break is due, the family enjoys spending time with friends & family at Lake
Palestine, TX and Mountain Home, Arkansas. Power Castle Ministries now celebrates over
twenty years of ministry.
